We've got a new website, created with the latest version of Joomla.

Our website has been completely overhauled and migrated to Joomla 1.7, to give us a chance to start fresh and ensure we are ready for the future. Joomla 1.7 has some pretty important improvements over Joomla 1.5, including a much more flexible ACL scheme. If you don't know what an ACL scheme is (and no, it has nothing to do with knee ligaments), rest assured it's a very good thing if you have lots of users on your website, and you need to control user permissions.

We have added on new website developers, writers, graphic artists to help us with developing the finest Internet Marketing programs for you. They will be helping you to develop, and use, the Internet so that it maximizes the right kind of traffic to your website. We are certainly looking forward to helping you develop effective marketing on the Internet.

We're starting a series of seminars, which we will turn into webinars, and workshops through the local McHenry Chamber of Commerce. Our first seminar will be at Firewood Grille, 2314 W. Route 120, McHenry, ILfrom 11:45am to 1:00pm. Cost is $20 for members, $25 for non-members of the Chamber. After this initial introduction we will begin 10 weekly workshops beginning November 7, 2011 from 5-7pm at the Chamber office on Green Street in McHenry. These workshops, free to all who come, will drill down into each of the pieces of the Internet making it easier to understand how all of them work and fit together to deliver your message and let you develop relationships with your customer.
